On March 21, the Towanda Jr. Sr. High School will have it’s first Open House in coordination with Parent/Teacher conferences from 8:00 am until 6:30 pm. Presentations and exhibitions will be done by various groups including: NHS, SADD, the Senior Class, the Freshman Class, Yearbook, Drama Club, Mr. Weaver’s Automotive Class, Ms. Doerner and the Knightly News Crew, Ms. Lane and the Science dept, Ms. S. Brown - MH/ID and OVR – including Jessica Price from OVR from 8:30-10:30 to meet with any interested parent.

Our band will have a performance in the new auditorium at 5 pm and our chorus will perform at 4:45 pm.

Please come out and see what our students have been doing this year!

The Towanda Jr.Sr. High School Scholarship Challenge team, coached by Mr. Henty, is moving on to the finals. In true Black Knight fashion, the team of Grady Templeton, Nathan Spencer, Dacion Yrigollen, Ryan O’Connor, and Rein Alderfer defeated Waverly, Notre Dame, and last year's champions Tioga Center. In an exciting final round, 10 questions were needed to break the tie between Towanda and Tioga Center, setting a Scholarship Challenge record. Towanda will now head to the finals on March 26th and face Wyalusing in the opening round.

The Girls Basketball home game tonight vs. Hughesville will be played as scheduled at 7:00 PM! Pack the house! LET'S GO LADY KNIGHTS!!!

The 2022 PMEA District 8 Chorus Festival is set to be held on Friday, February 11th with the concert beginning at 7:00 PM in the Community Arts Center of Williamsport, PA. The one-day festival is being hosted by the Bradford-Sullivan County Music Educators Association. The festival this year features Dr. Kyle Zeuch as the guest conductor. Dr. Zeuch currently serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Lebanon College. Students participating in the festival will have the opportunity to advance to the regional level by audition.
Three Towanda Area Junior-Senior High School students were selected to participate in the festival. Senior class students Anna Glantz and Laura Davidson, as well as junior class student, Abigail Rice.
Special congratulations are for Abigail Rice, as she has made it into the All-State Jazz Festival.

Towanda Jr./Sr. High School faculty and staff provided Christmas meals to local families. This year we were able to provide 18 meals. This tradition is something the staff look forward to every year.

Paradise Sperry who placed 3rd in Political Science
And Kaleigh Fields who placed 2nd in Securities & Investments.

Parents of JV and Varsity students who participated in a FALL sport, please be advised that the Fall Sports Award Program will be held on Monday, November 22nd @ 6 PM in the High School Auditorium. You are invited for refreshments in the cafeteria following the ceremony.
