NTCC Computer Camp Northern Tier Career Center is offering a Computer Science Camp for Bradford and Sullivan County students in grades 8 - 12. The camp will run from August 7th - 11th from 8 am - 3 pm. Please register by July 21st. A $25 registration fee will be due by the first day of camp.

RIT Award Winners Announced Mr. Dennis Peachey, principal of Towanda Junior/Senior High School, announced today that Ethan Jones and Marin Bovier have been named as this year’s Rochester Institute of Technology Computing Medal Award winners.
Future Ready PA Index In looking at ways to create a more holistic school evaluation tool, the Pennsylvania Department of Education conducted dozens of feedback sessions to solicit recommendations from more than 1,000 stakeholders around a new measure. The proposed Future Ready PA Index will serve as Pennsylvania’s one-stop location for comprehensive information about school success, and will use a dashboard model to highlight how schools are performing and making progress on multiple indicators.
2nd Annual Black Knight Bash is a HUGE success for the Towanda Area Education Foundation The Towanda Area Education Foundation hosted its second annual Black Knight Bash Live Auction & Dance at the Bradford County Regional Airport on April 22, 2017. Foundation treasurer, Doreen Secor, reported that over $18,000 was collected from tickets and winning auction bids!
Spring Sports Awards Parents of JV and Varsity students who participated in a SPRING sport please be advised that the Spring Sports Award program will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 6:00 PM in the High School New Auditorium. We will also be presenting our major sports awards. You are invited for pizza in the cafeteria after the awards provided by the Booster Club.
South African Artist Visits THS A little bit of South Africa arrived in our area when Brian McDonald brought 31 of his South African artworks to some of the World Literature classes of Phyllis McNeal and Tammy Templeton at Towanda Jr. Sr. High School on April 21 as part of their unit on South African literature.
NHS Induction On April 7, 2017, the Towanda High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 47 new members in front of a packed auditorium of family, friends, and classmates.
