Parents wishing to register their students in the Towanda Area School District need to fill out the Student Registration Packet located at the bottom of this page. Upon completing the registration packet please contact the School District to schedule an appointment to complete the registration.

Due to the NTCC classes beginning on August 28, THS students who attend the NTCC can be dismissed at 12:04 pm (end of period 5) on Thursday, August 24 and Friday, August 25. Students who remain at THS will be placed in study hall for the afternoon.

In order to be dismissed, students need to have the dismissal form on file with the high school office, or have a note for dismissal from their parent or guardian for the day of dismissal. The form will be valid for the year. Students will still be required to sign out in the high school office. The form covers any planned, scheduled or emergency (which includes utility or weather issues) for the closure of the NTCC. Parents would be notified in the event of emergency closures by Sky Alert or the THS Facebook or Twitter pages.

Please be advised that due to construction the parking lot and entrance on the North side (4th Street entrance) of the high school is closed. There will be limited parking available. All overflow parking will be at the Elementary School, J. Andrew Morrow School, and the student lot by the tennis courts.

The Towanda baseball team trip to Baltimore is rescheduled to Tuesday, June 20th. The bus will depart from the high school @ 10:00 AM.

Seventh Grade & New Student Orientation will be held in the Towanda Junior/Senior High School Auditorium on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.

Seventh grade and new students will receive their schedules and learn valuable information about high school life. Students and parents will have the opportunity to tour the school and meet high school administrators and personnel.

All seventh graders and their parents, as well as any new students entering grade 7 – 12 are urged by the school administration to attend.

There will be a sign-up meeting for all 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing football this year. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 8th at 6 PM in the high school cafeteria. Players and parents should be present to meet with Coach Sexton. Practice will start on Monday, August 14th at 2 PM. Players should report to the new gym lobby with completed physical forms and all other signed paperwork. Players should have cleats, shorts, & t-shirts. All other equipment will be issued during practice.
