Towanda Elementary Morning Drop-off Change
Effective Wednesday, March 26th, morning parent drop-off at the elementary school will become a one-way street. Parents will enter from Mill Street, drop students off on the East side of Towanda Elementary School then proceed to the stop sign at the “top” of the lot and exit, turning right onto State Street. From there you may continue up State Street or turn left onto Convent Avenue and left again onto Poplar Street to head back into town. Performing a U-turn in the parking lot to exit back onto Mill Street will no longer be an option. Cones, signs, and staff members will be present to assist with this transition. We appreciate your help with improving the drop-off process.
