Picture Day Dates are as follows:

Tuesday, October 3rd: 9-11th grades, in the morning

Wednesday, October 4th: 7th and 8th grades, in the Afternoon

Tuesday, October 17th: Senior Composite Photos, AM.
Re- takes for whole school after Senior photos

The guidance office was recently notified of a possible scholarship scam being mailed home to some students and parents in neighboring Pennsylvania high schools. The information came to us from Marla Kane, our PHEAA representative. The company is called C3workshop.com. They state there is no money for the initial "meeting" but additional fees will be charged for little to no services. Note that the company is based out of Las Vegas.
The letter makes it appear like this company has done research already to help students find the right school for them and Financial Aid. This is a false claim. Should you have any questions, please contact the guidance office or PHEAA @ (570)220-0473.

The Children’s House/Child Advocacy Center is hosting two parent training events at two local high schools. The training will be conducted by Chief Jim Holler, internationally known Crimes Against Children Safety Trainer. The training is free and open to the community; parents, caregivers, teachers, and school personnel are especially encouraged to attend.

Notice for Towanda Jr/Sr High School Parents -
Dear Parents,
As we head into the new school year we hope to avoid a struggle with being in school and the nice warm weather. We just want to take the time to remind you and your student about the current Towanda High School dress code. The following is the section found in the student agenda and student handbook. Please avoid any issues and follow the set guidelines. All tops must have a sleeve that extends a dollar bill width beyond the point of the shoulder. Cut off sleeves are not permitted. All shorts and skirts should be fingertip length.
