Parents of JV and Varsity students who participated in a winter sport, please be advised that the Winter Sports Award Program will be held on Tuesday, March 21st at 6:00 PM in the New Auditorium. You are invited for refreshments provided by the Booster Club in the cafeteria after the awards.

On March 20, schools will be closed for Parent-Teacher conferences. Please sign up to schedule a parent-teacher conference with your child’s teacher. For elementary students, parents are able to sign up online (instructions have been sent home) or by calling the main office (JAM – 265-4991; TAES – 265-6131). For high school students, parents can call the Guidance Office at 265-2101 extension 3059. Conferences can be scheduled from 8:00AM to 6:15PM, with meetings lasting 15 minutes.

We value strong relationships with our parents and families. Parent-Teacher conferences are an important way to learn how your child is progressing in school and to share any concerns that may help your child’s teacher. We hope you will sign up for a conference with your teachers.

The Towanda Area School District Board of Education will meet for a work session for general purposes on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 7:00 PM and a Policy & Curriculum Committee meeting immediately following the work session.

Towanda Area School District parents and guardians, please be advised that school will be dismissed early today, March 10, 2023, between 11:50 AM and 12:10 PM. K-4 students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM. You are asked to follow building procedures if you are picking up your child. All after school activities are cancelled.

Your child should report to school between 10:45 AM and 11:00 AM. K 4 students will start school at 11:15 AM. Doors will be opened at 10:45 AM for students. Breakfast will not be available.
