Dr. Dawn Hart began working for the Towanda Area School District as Director of Special Education in 2013. Before coming to Towanda, Dr. Hart served four years as the Director of Special Education at the Easton Area School District. She formerly taught secondary English and Special Education at Pocono Mountain School District. Dr. Hart earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Stroudsburg University, followed by a Master's degree in education at E.S.U. She has acquired the following certifications: Special Education PK-12, English 9-12, Supervisor of Special Education PK-12, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction PK-12, Principal K-12, and has earned Doctor of Education in Leadership and Administration through Immaculata University.
