Hello!

Mr. Allen Fink has been teaching English at Towanda High School since August 2002.  He previously spent 5 years teaching English and Theology at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional and Bishop Neumann High Schools. Since 2016, Mr. Fink has served as the Towanda Band Assistant.  He has served as Student Council advisor and Chess Club advisor as well. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English, Secondary Education from Mansfield University, with a Music minor. He has participated in various professional development experiences through the years, including courses from Wilkes and Penn State Universities, Pennsylvania College of Technology, and the Pennsylvania Classrooms for the Future program.  

 

Mr. Fink is a 1989 graduate of Jersey Shore High School, and has consequently enjoyed home orange and black colors most of his life!  He and his wife, Susanne, have four children -- Anna, Mary, Lucy, and Thomas -- who are all graduates or future graduates of THS. 

 

Mr. Fink's personal interests include writing, reading (mostly non-fiction or historical fiction), local history, music in almost any form, genealogy, sports, and gaming.
