Hello! My name is Jennifer Lane and I graduated from Towanda High School in 1998! I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Montana. Then I returned home to attend Mansfield University, where I received my K-6 elementary teaching certificate, as well as a Master's in Education. In 2013, I completed a Master's in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certificate. In 2016, I became certified to be a member of our Student Assistance Program (SAP).
I started teaching in the Towanda Area School district in 2009. I taught 5th grade for three years then I made the move to 2nd grade! I spend a lot of time participating in activities offered by our district such as: walk to school days, family engagement nights, volunteering at the book fair, attending PTO meetings, and other various district wide activities. I love seeing my students and their families, out in the community, at these different events!
One of my other passions is yoga! I became a certified Yoga instructor in August 2017 and have started teaching a yoga class!
