This Holiday Season the Towanda Area School District National Honor Society is giving back to the community by helping the Salvation Army. Students could be found bell ringing at Hurley’s Supermarket, collecting gifts and volunteering their time to help with the Angel Tree Program. Towanda Faculty, Staff and students donated gifts, filling 19 Angel Tree Tags for area children in need to make their holiday a special one. Picture above are all the gifts that were collected along with National Honor Society Officers (Sarah Maryott, Ezozahon Ismailova, Courtney Locke, Samantha Peachey Tara Welliver).

In conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of Towanda Wrestling, the Black Knight program invites all past and present fans, wrestlers, and coaches who comprise the Towanda Wrestling community to join together for ceremonies prior to the dual meet vs Wellsboro on December 15th.

Abigail K. Smith graduate of THS class of 2011 received her honorary white coat from UNE College of Dental Medicine honoring the Class of 2019. She is the daughter of Mary and Chris Smith of Towanda, Pa. Abigail is currently attending dental school and will graduate Spring of 2019 with her medical degree at DMD.
