RIT Awards

This award is given to one female and one male student from the junior class at participating high schools in recognition of outstanding achievement in computing.  These students have distinguished themselves academically, are active and involved members of their school and community, and demonstrate interest and ability in computing.   Each nominee will receive a $7,000 per year scholarship at RIT should they enroll in the fall following graduation from high school.

Mrs. Rebecca Stanfield, Principal of Towanda Junior/Senior High School, announced today that Ryan Risch has been named as this year’s Rochester Institute of Technology Innovation and Creativity Award winner.   Recipients of this award are nominated by their high schools.  Nominees must be leaders in their school and/or community, rank in the top ten percent of the junior class and demonstrate outstanding achievement in innovation, creativity, or entrepreneurship.  Each nominee will receive a $7,000 per year scholarship at RIT should they enroll in the fall following graduation from high school.
