Towanda Wrestling 60th Anniversary Open House

This is sixty years to the day of Towanda’s first dual in the old gym at State Street and Western Avenue, December 15, 1955, hosting Wellsboro.  Prior to the varsity match at 7 PM a brief ceremony will honor former head coaches Edward Branish, Jack Fox and Don Butler.   Along with long-time assistant coaches, Steve Gobble, Lloyd Vaughn and Bob Watkins, for their collective role in the 60 year success of Towanda Wrestling.  The night will start with Jr. High matches at 6 PM, followed by J.V. bouts with Varsity to follow the anniversary ceremony.  There will be no admission charge.  Please come be our guests.  We hope to fill the gym with fans and former wrestlers from all of our 60 years, as Towanda Black Knight Wrestling starts its 7th decade.
