Students Design and Build Bridges

Mr. Sayre's Drafting I class recently completed their "Structural Analysis Paper Bridge Design Challenge". The winners of the challenge were Bobby Farley and Joe Garris. The bridge they designed and built held 13 lbs (6,000 grams) which is shown in the picture below. Back in the classroom, the bridge held 15 lbs of books, before giving way.
