The goal of the ThinkSTEM Academy is to expose students to careers and activities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Students are challenged with fun, hands-on projects such as learning chemistry through cooking, using engineering to design paper airplanes and utilizing computers to design neighborhoods.
The Summer ThinkSTEM Sessions will be The Science of You (June 30th – July 3rd), The Science of Stuff (July 7th – 10th), The Science of Life (July 14th – 17th ), and the Science of Everything (July 21st – 24th ). Applications are available in the Elementary Office for 5th and 6th grade students or the High School Guidance Office for 7th graders and are due back by Friday, May 23, 2014.
