FOR KIDS:
Get plenty of rest the evening before each testing day
Attend school every morning on testing days and be on time
Pace yourself. Don’t spend too much time on any one question
Read ALL directions carefully, don’t be afraid to ask questions if something is not clear
Pay close attention to pictures, diagrams and charts to help you to answer questions correctly
Math problems should never be done “in your head.” Always use scratch paper to do the work before selecting an answer, or use a calculator (on certain sections) to help with your work.
Use all of the time you are given for each test section. If you finish before time is up, go back and check your answers. Make sure that you have answered all questions
Take a slow, deep breath before beginning a test. Relax!
